inkeep Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the inkeep app (the "App") provided by Axisix (the "Developer"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

inkeep is a notebook for keeping up with people you know. It stores people, notes, photos, upcoming meetups and gift records. By default, everything you save stays on your device.

If you turn on the optional Google Drive backup, backup files are stored in the app-specific folder of your own Google Drive. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

The App only reads your device contacts and never writes to them.

2. Pro subscription

Some features are offered through a paid Pro subscription, purchased via Google Play in-app billing, monthly or yearly. If a one-time lifetime option is offered, it is shown on the purchase screen.

Core use of the App — adding people, writing notes, search, backup and export — does not require a subscription.

• Prices and the billing period are shown in the App and on the Google Play purchase screen before you pay.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. Unless you cancel before the current period ends, your payment method is charged for the next period and the subscription continues. A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment and does not renew.
• You can cancel at any time from the Subscriptions menu in the Google Play Store. After cancelling you are not charged again, and Pro features remain available for the period you already paid for.
• When a subscription ends and you return to the free plan, some features return to their free limits. For example, contact reminders are kept for the free number of people, and you choose which people to keep. Until you choose, the reminders you already set keep firing; the ones you do not keep are paused rather than deleted and are restored if you subscribe again.
• People, notes, photos and meetups you have already saved are not removed when a subscription ends. You can keep viewing, editing and exporting them.
• Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. The Developer does not offer separate refunds outside Google Play.
• If a subscription price changes, notice is given in accordance with Google Play policy, and you may cancel before renewal.

3. Your responsibilities

The App may hold other people's personal information — names, phone numbers, photos. You are responsible for having a proper basis to store and use that information, and must not use the App in ways that break applicable laws or infringe others' rights.

Device permissions (contacts, photos, notifications) are managed by you and can be changed in your device settings at any time. You can use the App without granting them by adding people manually.

4. Data and backup

People, notes and photos you save stay on your device by default. Deleting the App or clearing its data in device settings removes them.

We recommend using backup (Google Drive or export to a file) to protect your data. The Developer is not responsible for data loss resulting from not backing up.

5. Notifications

Contact reminders, birthday and anniversary alerts and meetup reminders are local notifications generated on your device. Battery saving settings, notification permissions and time zone changes can shift or prevent delivery. The Developer does not guarantee that notifications always arrive at an exact time.

6. Intellectual property

Rights in the App, its design, trademarks and software belong to the Developer. Rights in the content you save belong to you or the original rights holder.

7. Changes to and discontinuation of the service

The Developer may improve or change the service and, where unavoidable, discontinue all or part of it.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is". The Developer does not warrant that the App will operate without errors or interruption, or that it is fit for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App.

10. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may change as needed, and changes are posted on this page. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes relating to the App follow the courts designated by applicable law.
